Purvi Shah

• Purvi prefers to be known as an Organic kitchen gardener, who converts kitchen waste into rich organic soil with very little efforts. She conducts regular kitchen gardening workshops along with Ms Bhavna shah and others.

S. N Kabe

• A very senior Consultant and expert with rich experience and knowledge of environmental subjects.

• He has also been involved in drafting various rules and regulations related to solid waste management for municipal bodies.

Subhash Rane

• Subhash Rane calls himself an Environmental Student.

• After retirement, he is working with various environment activities.

• He is engaged with the removal of community bins or dumps from Mumbai City and ensured that his adopted ward is dump free.

• He is now replicating the model for another 17 wards with the help of MCGM staff.

• Subhash is working with the Save Aarey foundation to conserve the last lung of Mumbai with mass plantation & regular Clean Up drives.

• He works with Rivermarch for the Rejuvenation of Mumbai Rivers and conducts awareness campaigns for Societies, School, Colleges and Slums in Mumbai.

• He also works with Right to Pee for Pay & Use Community Toilets cleanliness & maintenance.

Dr. Uday Mashelkar

Dr. (Mrs) Vani Kulhalli

• Dr. Vani Kulhalli, a psychiatrist by profession.

• She maintains a blog called parlepurva@blogger to cover environment issues in Vile Parle east.

• She have tried and learnt several methods of composting at her home.
